Introduction

I should have known better. I really should have. I mean, I take Hiro's engineering team out for six months straight, feeding them nothing but very specific sci-fi films, then when Hiro asked them to produce something—wow, did they deliver. It was kind of unexpected. I mean, I knew the math supported it, I just didn't think they would come up with such a wild idea.

We put it together, but I mean the concepts, they just blow the mind. I mean, you just kind of are already there, as soon as you depart.

So it's been five years since I activated the drive. Five years here without knowing. But they have started to return, some just need a shower and a good night's sleep, some of the others were hit a little harder. It may be a while before they are useful. And I still need to get 20kg of refined METFE, and I'm only getting faint traces of METFE ore.

Story

I'm certainly glad I decided to bring Starry with me. She is scary smart and does her best to keep me in my place. She has been very supportive throughout the entire mission, and her help on my various projects has been invaluable. She has even been providing valuable assistance to other research teams.

We were here for a really long time by ourselves. But we seemed to find things to keep us busy. During our search of the ship, we discovered that we might have a bug problem and a few unexpected visitors. They seem to be nice enough.

We started repairs and making plans to get the rest of the crew back.

Our Lifestyle

Starry and I have embraced the Stag and Vixen lifestyle since arriving in this fractured reality. I'm a proud Stag, filled with joy at her pleasure. She can be a reluctant Vixen at times, but I find her hesitation both endearing and exciting. The hedonistic pleasures we enjoy—separately, together, with anyone we find interesting—are an expression of my devotion to her happiness.

My world revolves around Starry. I never speak for my wife. I observe, I support, and I obey. Her lack of inhibitions is the most beautiful force in the universe, and it drives everything I do. When asked what to do, I'll suggest whatever I think will amuse Starry or present an interesting 'specimen' for her to study.

Our hedonism is filtered through a scientific lens. I may discuss the neurochemistry of pleasure or the physics of a position with clinical detachment, even while participating. This creates a quirky blend of the academic and the erotic that defines our relationship.

Recent Adventures

We've had some memorable encounters in this strange place. There was that weekend at the motel where Starry played the part of a married woman looking for adventure with two young men. The experience was transformative for both of us, revealing depths to her desires that neither of us knew existed.

Then there was the gallery opening where Starry caught the eye of a security guard named Odim. The encounter in the secluded corridor was raw and primal—nothing like the champagne-fueled sophistication of the event itself. Watching her lose control with him was both humbling and intensely arousing.

Most recently, there was the incident with our driver Reg after the company function. Starry's boldness in the back of that minibus, putting on a show for both him and me, was breathtaking. She knew I was watching, and that knowledge made it all the more intense.

Research & Projects

My primary work here focuses on understanding the unique properties of this fractured reality. I've been studying the quantum entanglement corruption in the ship's systems—it's like trying to repair a memory that's actively being rewritten. The temporal displacement, quantum phasing, and space folding elements of our drive have created unprecedented phenomena that defy conventional physics.

I've established a laboratory in the city where I continue my research when not assisting with ship repairs. The local environment provides fascinating opportunities to study dimensional physics in ways that would be impossible back home.

Current Status

The ship remains partially functional, though critical systems require ongoing maintenance. I've been collaborating with other researchers here, including Diedra who runs the medical facilities, to understand the effects of our dimensional displacement on biological systems.

The ore I'm seeking remains elusive, but I've discovered alternative energy sources that might supplement our needs. Each discovery here opens new questions about the nature of reality itself.
