DUKETS & STUFF

This area utilizes a metered combat and trade system.

Health and Stamina meter

  • Stamina is how hungry you are and decays steadily over time.
  • Health is how much damage your body can take.
  • You can be damaged
    • ranged mode (the default) is activated with /1r
      • ranged_throttle=0.5; // The delay between the damage done by projectiles.
      • ranged_damage=15;
      • deadtime = 90;
    • Melee mode is activated with /1m
      • damage = 8; //melee damage
      • throttle = 0.25; //The delay between hits.
      • melee range = 2.25;
      • Melee angle = (PI/12)

If your health goes to zero

you will fall down and a drag-able cuff will be attached to your wrist, it is not locked.

  • High stamina increases health over time.
  • Stamina 30 or below decreases health, rapidly.

You must eat.

  • You may be able to find scraps laying around.
  • Not all food is edible.
  • You may grill and eat fish caught with 7 seas fishing pole.
    • Any 7 seas fishing pole will work to get food.
  • You may buy food for Dukets.

Dukets are the official RP currency of this area.

  • You may view your Dukets by typing /1d
  • You may sell some non-fish 7 seas items for Dukets at designated locations.
  • You may earn Dukets from other players.
  • There is a 'Dukethud' and 'PersonalVendor' available at the trading post.

Meter

All visitors to Fractured reality RP are are required to wear the Fractured Meter.

The meter temp attaches to your right eye to display Health and Stamina. It will auto-detach if you leave the sim.

  • Health: This is how damaged you are and ranges from %0 - dead to 100% - not damaged.
  • Stamina: This is how hungry you are and ranges from 0% - starving and 100% full and happy.
  • Your stamina is connected to how fast you heal.
    • If your stamina is higher than 70% your healing is rapid. The meter will be green.
    • if your stamina is between 30% and 70% you will heal, but at a reduced rate. The meter will be yellow.
    • If your Stamina is below 30% you are starving and will start to take damage. The meter will be red.

Your health can be affected by, failing to eat, or by weapon or other damage caused to your person.

  • If your health drops to zero you will fall to the ground and leashing cuff will be attached to your left wrist as a roleplay aid.
    • The downed animation lasts for 60 seconds.
    • Anyone who touches the cuff will be able to drag you away.
    • You can remove the cuff at any time that the roleplay allows it.
  • No weapon is necessary for melee but you do need to be close enough to slap them.
  • Any weapon that fires a projectile should work here.

Rate and amount of damage is controlled by the meter, your choice of weapons makes no difference.

To Eat,

There are things that looks like food, in places you might find food, for you to eat. Touch the item and it will add stamina points.

You may hunt

Tabok or Vulo and trade or grill the meat at the Meat Market

You may fish

using 7 Seas fishing poles you can catch fish to eat.

There are different grills for Common fish, Uncommon fish, Rare fish, Tabuk and Vulo. If you cook the wrong Meat on the wrong grill you will lose the meat.

To cook the Meat, locate the correct grill (they are not labeled), touch it, and CTRL-Drag the correct fish on to the grill.

Fish and other items can be traded at the Trading post and other locations.

This is version 9.x of the Meter, and is probably buggier than a whorehouse mattress. But it seems to function.

Meter Commands;

Switch to melee mode: /1 m

Switched to ranged mode: /1 r

Show how many dukets: /1 d

Change gender: /1 g
