During this coup attempt, a number of the research labs were cleared of their research materials and subjects. 			BACKSTORY:

			Tetsuo's father, Hiro Sumoku, the president and CEO as well as the majority shareholder in Sumoku Corp, was never happy with his sons chosen profession. It was always his goal that his son follow a different path, but as it usually happens, this was not the case.

			Sumoku Corp, is one of the worlds largest Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology research companies that you have never heard of. They do contract work for Governments, Militaries, and a small set of well funded private organizations.

			Hiro Sumoku, built Sumoku Corp from the ground up, he went to all the best schools and had multiple Phd's at a very early age. Unsatisfied with the path he was on, and what an education alone could bring, he set all that aside during his early years to go into business with his friends in the Yakuza. He quickly rose in power due to his ability to embrace the fundamentals of "ninkyō dantai". He took all of this knowledge, the kind you don't get in school, along with some very important contacts, and used it to build Sumoku Corp.

			It was during this time when he met Tetsuo's mother. Or at least that what Tetsuo was led to believe. In actuality Tetsuo's mother was an intricate fabrication, his real "mother" was carefully selected genetic traits from a few thousand people, Including the person he believes is his father. After a great deal of lab work, and a number of failed attempts Tetsuo was "born" These genetic modifications along with the addition of some experimental nanobots, gave Tetsuo amazing abilities. These abilities caused no end of problems while he was growing up. He has always known he was different, just not exactly how or why.

			When Tetsuo's activities finally got him in too much trouble to handle on his own, his father became involved and used his contacts to make the problems go away, and against his initial wishes, gave Tetsuo a position in the organization.

			Due to his particular set of skills, Tetsuo was made the VP in charge of asset acquisition and disposal. Due to the nature of the work done in some of the different departments in the company, these assets were often human. He excelled in this work.
